We are looking for a Social Media Manager (36-40 hrs/week) to join our growing team!

EdenFrost is a boutique communications agency situated along a charming canal in the heart of Amsterdam. We specialise in providing quality English-language content to the Dutch and international market. We work collaboratively within our team and with our clients to deliver thoughtful, effective results.

As the Social Media Manager, you serve as the go-to person for all social media projects at EdenFrost. In addition to scoping and developing strategies and campaigns for a variety of clients, you stay on top of trends, mentor team members and help develop our services.

Role & responsibilities

  • Go-to person for social media projects
  • Develop, implement and manage effective social media promotion, engagement and conversion strategies for a variety of clients, including EdenFrost
  • Work with Project Manager to scope client requests, determining budget, resources and workflow   
  • Guide and mentor team members working on social media projects  
  • Oversee, monitor and optimise all social media projects
  • Measure, analyse and report on ROI
  • Develop and execute A/B tests to improve performance
  • Plan, create, and execute or coordinate social media campaigns
  • Generate ideas to align SEO efforts with social media strategy
  • Keep up to date on the latest trends in digital technologies and teach this to the team
  • Develop, update and adapt guidelines including best practices
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to develop and optimise our social media services

Key skills

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a social media role
  • Fluent in English, ability to speak Dutch a definite plus
  • Skilled in writing engaging copy for social media
  • Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram and other platforms’ best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of SEO, digital media and content marketing
  • Affinity with social media management tools (incl. Hootsuite, Sprout, Meltwater)
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and teach this to team members
  • Strategic, creative thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Solid time-management skills
  • Agile, friendly, enthusiastic and a team player
